Sarah and Zoe set up Notts Women Runners because they wanted to encourage other women in the area to discover the love of running they’d found for themselves. They wanted a running club which wasn't intimidating to new runners, which celebrated experienced runners, which was friendly and supportive, and above all, which understood what it means to be a female runner. They wanted a club where we could feel equally comfortable discussing the best sports bra as we could chatting about marathon training. So they set up their own, starting with a group on Facebook, then becoming a Run England group and finally moving towards becoming an affiliated running club!

Since March 2014, Notts Women Runners has grown to over 430 women, they've run two beginners courses which have had nearly 150 participants... and they still LOVE running!
